Mintr ("we," "us") is a stock-rating, screening, and portfolio-tracking tool at mintr.com. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled. It's written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate — if anything is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom.
Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile info (name, profile picture) that Google shares as part of sign-in. If you sign in with an email code instead, we receive the email address you provide and send a one-time verification code to it.
App data you create. Screener selections, watchlist entries, saved screens, and preferences (theme, holding-period, rating floor) you enter into Mintr are stored in our own database, tied to your account, so they're there the next time you sign in.
Local device data. Some preferences and basic usage counters (which features you use, to help us improve the product) are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are not transmitted to us or to any third party.
Sign-in cookie. If you sign in, we also set a first-party cookie on mintr.com that records only that you are signed in, so our homepage can send you straight to the app. It contains no personal data and is removed when you sign out.
We use the information above to operate Mintr: authenticate you, save and display your screens, watchlist, and ratings, and power MintAI search answers about public market data. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
MintAI is an AI-assisted search feature. It answers questions using public market data. It is informational only — it does not execute trades, does not have access to any brokerage account, and is designed to never give personalized buy/sell recommendations.
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on their end.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below.
Your account data is stored in our own database and is accessible only through your authenticated session.
Mintr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy as Mintr evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
